OUR STORY
Our story dates back to 1746 when Sir Francis
Dashwood (1708-1781) began a very exclusive
club for the social elite. It was officially known
as «The Knights of St Francis».
However «Hellfire Club» was a name bestowed upon this secret club by critics of Sir Francis and his followers.
The history of the Hellfire Club dates back to the 1700s when it
was originally a British secret society designed for high standing individuals of a certain persuasion. Members included the social elite and had many famous attendees. including Lord Sandwich who documented his membership of this secret club.

The purpose of the club was to provide a place for fun, for likeminded, intelligent people who wanted a place to be themselves. It is believed they encouraged behaviours that were considered hedonistic at that time and was strictly invite only.
The club was closed by royal edict, where among the motivations was how the club’s members did «corrupt the minds and morals of one another».
Each member was entitled to bring along a guest if he was inclined to do so of a particular social standing. In the 1700’s invitations were sent by the Prior and costumes were required to be worn by attendees. These meetings were recorded in 1779 in a book called Nocturnal Revels.

In 1999 Eyes wide shut was released which was based on Arthur Schnitzler's 1926 novella Traumnovelle (Dream Story)

Expect fantastic venues, a great crowd and an alluring atmosphere.
Dressing up is a big part of our events.
Expect Champagne on arrival and for lots of socializing.
Just before midnight the atmosphere changes and the many play rooms are filled with guests.
There is no pressure to play at our events.

Music has the ability to change how you feel, making you feel a variance of emotions from feeling empowered, emotional and even aroused. We have incredible music to create a night of ecstasy.

Nights of St Francis is a high end kink party for liberated elite with a love for sensuality, music and dressing up.
We have a very strict no photography rule. No phones are allowed at our events. Photography will only be taken of our models by our professional photographers. Guests may request to be photographed also for our coffee table book to keep.
The Nights Of St Francis Age Demographic is between 18 years old and 45 years old.

All members are required to go through the photo application and security verification process in order to be considered for an invitation. This keeps our events immensely safe and our guestlists consistently incredible.

You may only attend one of our events if you are given direct invitation and the password by one of The Masons.

Dress Code
Nights Of St Francis is a chic fetish event, with a strict dress code. This dress code is not optional. Below is our usual dress code. (Occasionally the events theme may alter the dresscode.)

Usual Dress Code for women: A black cloak paired with your choice of black lingerie or black kink attire (Latex, Leather harnesses, Body Art, Hints of Burlesque and touches of metal)
Ladies may wear a chic black party dress for arrival and then change inside the venue.
​
Usual Dress Code for Men: Strictly Black Tie - Black bow tie, white suit shirt, black trousers, smart black shoes.
